Using the innovative technique of clay painting, artist, filmmaker and winner Joan Gratz takes the viewer on an amazing colorful journey through the development of modern art from Van Gogh to Warhol. The short uses claymation to seamlessly follow the major roads of the roots of modern art. It's a gorgeous piece, and definitely worth your time. Joan was a long time artist with Will Vinton Studios and has created many films and commercials with her clay painting technique. 

 Destino

1945 - 2003

Destino is an animated short film released in 2003 by The Walt Disney Company. Destino is unique in that its production originally began in 1945, 58 years before its eventual completion. The project was a collaboration between american animator  Walt Disney and spanish painter Salvador Dalí, and features music written by Mexican songwriter Armando Dominguez and performed by Dora Luz. It was included in the Animation Show of Shows in 2003.
